What services are provided?

  • A licensed nurse is on duty.
  • The nurse attends to the medical needs of our clients such as administering medications and treatments ordered by the clients’ physician.
  • The nurse is responsible for maintaining the medical records and ongoing care plans for the clients.
  • We have a full time Activities Director who plans and directs individualized daily activities for each client. The Activities Director monitors and adapts activities to meet the clients’ physical and mental capabilities as well as their individual preferences.
  • Our staff is trained in adult CPR, first aid, and safety and disaster procedures. We have a licensed registered dietician as consultant who comes on a weekly basis to monitor clients’ nutritional status and make necessary adjustments. The dietician plans the snack menus on a monthly basis. Many of our clients are on special diets per physician’s orders (such as diabetic, low salt, pureed, etc.). The dietician provides training for the staff with regard to the clients special and individual needs.
  • We provide assistance with personal care needs including bathing and grooming.
  • We provide coordination of care services, and respite for family and caregivers.
    Medicaid pays 100% of costs for those who qualify.
  • Our staff to client ratio is at least one staff member per eight clients. Our attendants provide personal care for the clients, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Day Stay for Adults is licensed by the Department of Aging and Disabilities to provide care for Medicaid eligible and private pay clients. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 5:30PM.
